RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The team at Epicuro believes that product manufacturers should continuously aim to improve the quality of their products, eliminating worker hazards and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

As a result of this belief, Epicuro were pioneers in the introduction of Silane alternatives in concrete treatment after engaging in substantial research and testing programmes with leading UK universities. So, whilst we are able to supply Silane, which has a significant carbon footprint, we actively encourage customers to use our safer EN1504-2 compliant, VOC free alternatives.

We are currently working with Brunel University London and Nottingham Trent University to research new products which will reduce dependency on cement and hydrocarbon rich resins. Other research we are conducting with the universities focuses on sustainable techniques for the repair of potholes.
