CHEM-CRETE PAVIX CCC100,
RAILWAY BRIDGES, SOUTHAMPTON

At the end of 2015 civil engineers Dyer & Butler installed two bridges over the railway in Oxted, Southampton. This was done to raise the level of the previous bridges to make way for larger rail stock in the future.

In order to prevent these two bridges from deterioration long into the future, protective treatment PacixCCC100 was applied to them.

Epicuro’s PavixCCC100 helps to protect from issues such as freeze thaw attack and corrosion. It does this by creating a breathable barrier on the surface assisted by the growth of crystals to keep the structure dry. This eliminates most of the issues that typically affect these structures and ensures longevity of the bridge.
