What can Epicuro CL01-eco be used for?

Epicuro CL01-eco is used to clean floors, walls, building facades, driveways, car-parks, machinery, sumps, containment bunds and industrial kitchens. Example of use can be found in factories, machinery workshops, food processing plants, power and desalination plants, warehouses and industrial kitchens.

Epicuro CLO1-eco is classes only as an irritant and, therefore, has low health and safety risks. In addition, it is non-corrosive to most surfaces. 

  • Eye protection: If there is a risk of splashing, wear protective goggles.
  • In the event of ingestion: do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or a specialist.
  • Respiratory protection: Under normal conditions of use, where adaquate ventilation is available, no special respiratory protection equipment is needed.
  • Hand protection: Wear PVC gloves.
  • Skin protection: wear overalls. No special clothing or skin protection is recommended under normal conditions of use.

Where required, product users are responsible for preparing their own COSHH Assessments based on the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) provided by Epicuro for its products.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Ensure surface is free of all coating, coverings or materials that could prevent proper application and penetration of the product.
  • Effectively protect all aluminium fixutures or fittings, especially when using the product neat or at high concentration. 
  • Protect adjoining areas not intended to be cleaned from overspray or spillage.

APPLICATION

  • Prepare Epicuro CL01-eco to the required concentration (see doseage guidance), following possible testing on the surface to be treated. For optimum productivity, this is best determined by trial and error for the job in hand.
  • Apply Epicuro CL01-eco evenly on the surface, by brush or spray and agitate with stiff brush.
  • Allow Epicuro CL01-eco time to work, penetrating the dirt or grease contamination.
  • The dwell time will depend on the substrate, thickness and type of contamination and the concentration of product used.
  • Do not allow product to dry on the surface, top up if necessary.
  • Rinse with high pressure water jet. For best results, use hot water approximately 80oC. 
  • Repeat cleaning, possibly altering product concentration and dwell time, to achieve desired result. 
  • Again rise and then vacuum up using wet & dry vacuum equipment.

Epicuro CL01-eco works by dissolving and breaking down the structure and surface adhesion of contamination, such as oils, greases, fats, dirt and general grime.

Epicuro CL01-eco is an ‘industrial grade’ cleaner that cleans effectively where most other products only partially succeed. Unlike other cleaning products, it’s use is NOT restricted by WEL Regulations (Workplace Exposure Limit).

Epicuro CL01-eco is a fast acting solution to surface cleaning, quickly lifting contamination from the surface in a manner that supports ‘safe waste management’, using rinse water.
